Festivals & Événements
L’histoire, l’héritage et la culture d’Anguilla sont régulièrement d’actualité sur notre île. Le calendrier est presque toujours plein d’événements culturels, de fêtes, de représentations et de compétitions.
C’est le Festival d’été qui offre la démonstration la plus spectaculaire de la culture locale. Il s’ouvre un lundi du mois d’août à 5h du matin sur le J’ Over Mornin’, parade musicale de rue qui commence à l’aube pour célébrer l’émancipation de l’île. S’ensuivent près de deux semaines de festivités, de danses, de compétitions, de foires et de parades qui viennent colorer les soirées. Pendant le jour, comme pour presque toutes les grandes fêtes anguillaises, l’île est animée par les pic-nics de plage et les courses de bateau, sport national de l’île.

John T. Memorial Cycling Race
Anguillian cyclists compete with others from throughtout the Caribbean on a challenging course that winds its way across our island. The route begins in The Valley before going east to Sandy Hill roundabout, it continues to the West End, then on the way back, loops through Sandy Ground befor returning to the east and climax at The Valley. Male cyclists perform three laps and female participants complete two laps. Day one sets the stage as a time trial and hieghtens with the race on day two!

Anguilla Annual Yacht Regatta
Hosted by the Anguilla Sailing Association (ASA) and the Anguilla Tourist Board, the Annual Anguilla Yacht Regatta attracts sailors from across the Caribbean and around the world. A number of races will be held, and the event culminates with a post- race reception
